New Flower Beds-Round 2

For those of you that don't know me and stumbled upon this blog, my name is Joey (Joanna) and my sweet husbands name is Brett. I'm sure you'll get to read more about him as time goes on. He is quite witty and very hilarious. He will definitely add some spice to this blog.

Anyway, let's start this blog off with our most recent home update... our garden! About this time last year we planted new flowers in our flower bed. Brett planted one side and I did the other. I wish I could tell you I was awesome at it, but that would definitely be a lie. Let's just say that my side was less than stellar. I somehow did not manage to get my flowers deep enough into the ground. They looked great for a few days and then soon after that they died. One might think that I should give up my green thumb, but sweet Brett gave me another opportunity to plant flowers. With some great instruction I did a much better job the second time around. Yes, I did manage to get the plants completely in the ground. Yay me! I thought I would share some pictures with you to see how great our transformation was... The first picture is the remnants from last year...yuck...
